Description
Black Rock is the highest point in the Ballyhoura Mountains standing at an elevation of approximately 516 meters. From the summit you are rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, including Galty Mountains to the east and the Knockmealdown Mountains to the south. The hike leads through open land, follow farm paths and mountain trails but might include un-pathed parts. You might expect loose rocks, wet and muddy parts, small streams, grasslands and heather. This hike is dedicated for EVERY BODY and therefore we hike with slow pace.
