Description
The walk to Coumshingaun Lake in the Comeragh Mountains is one of the most scenic and rewarding hikes in Ireland. The lake’s unique shape and impressive cliffs provide a striking and picturesque scene, making it a favourite spot for photographers and nature enthusiasts. The hike leads through open land, follow farm paths and mountain trails but might include un-pathed parts. You might expect loose rocks, wet and muddy parts, small streams, grasslands and heather. The hike has few very steep ascends & descend, including scrambling where the hands must be use to climb the section.
